introducing: goby 3.0 for iPhone

We’re pleased to announce the 3.0 release of our iPhone app – introducing the goby Fun Feed!

With 3.0 we’ll connect to your Facebook account (with your permission), sync to your interests and activities, and then recommend activities and events near you for the coming weekend. You can also manually configure the Fun Feed; add musical artists, or venues you love and goby will alert you to upcoming events that match, from the major band playing at big venue to a great exhibit at your favorite museum, all the way to storytime at your local library. No longer do you have to search goby to find great local experiences – instead, you can configure your app to wake up once a week and recommend things that are likely of interest for your weekend. You can also request a weekly mail as a reminder of all those great things going on near you!
