Introducing goby 3.0 for android

Last week we launched an updated version of our goby Android app into the Android Marketplace.  The new app has the same new features that we released with the iPhone last month:

Facebook syncing

artist and venue tracking and updating

automatic goby recommendations for what you should be doing *right now*! A.K.A. the goby fun feed.

The app still maintains the core goby search functionality so you can find things to do near you with three taps down into goby’s listings.  But now you can sync the app to your Facebook account and get personalized recommendations from the goby fun feed.

Access your feed through the menu ribbon on your Android device.  As a new user, you’ll be invited to sync your goby app to your Facebook account for an automatically configured feed.  Or, choose ‘personalize’ in the upper right of your screen to manually create your own fun feed based on goby categories, artists, and venues:
